Pet Photography Secrets for Taking Better Pet Photos with Your Phone eBook Tim Wemple
So many of us take photos with our phone but we rarely put much thought into it. We just pull out our phone and snap the shot. One of the things I found so good about this book was it made me think about what I was doing. It gives some very practical advice that is easy to put into action and can make a dramatic difference in your photos.I did a lot of searches on the internet about how to take photos of my pet and thought I knew about everything there was to know. But I was wrong. This book covers things I had never come across in my internet searches and refuted a few things that many people tout as good practices. For instance, using a ball or a toy to get your dog’s attention. This author says it’s not a good way to go and gives a unique solution to getting your pets attention, as well as some other ideas I’ve not read before.
This book covers the basic compositional problems when photographing your pet, as well as technical challenges you’ll face taking photos with your phone.
I found it well worth the money and has given me some great ideas on how, with a little thought, I can improve my photography.
I found the author to be a very accomplished photographer in his own right and through his business a very accomplished artist as well that has a lot of experience looking at pet photos taken with phones.
The only down side to the book is that all of the examples are with dogs or cats, not that many of the principles could not be apply to any animal, but there are no examples in the book of other pets.
Overall I would say this book is well worth the money.

Its a fast read and worth the price . Buy it you'll like it . Loved it,great read . Ya
I am very happy with my purchase of "Pet Photography-Secrets to Taking Better Pet Photos With Your Phone." There's so much practical and useful information that can be immediately applied for better photos. If you're looking for editing information this is not the book to buy, but if you're looking for a great short cut to taking a photography class filled with very practical information this book is a bargain.
Just finished reading this book. What great info - especially since I have a predominately white cat and also a black cat that I never can seem to get the pics to look just right. I am going to try the instructions regarding light positioning and background colors to bring their own coloring out better. Also gonna work on the burst mode. Hope to get some much better pics now and hopefully get them sent off to Andy Paw Prints soon for professional artistic pet portraits.
This book is well written and easy to read. The book is full of useful tips the author breaks down in terms that are easy to understand. This book helped me to understand the importance of such things like lighting, shutter speed and so much more to enhance the quality of photos of my pet. The book contains many comparison photos that show the outcome of photos when applying the tips. Very informative book on taking amazing photos with your phone!
